A little information on how Hide and Seek began

 

Tracy Hide is the founder of Hide and Seek. She first started in 2003 as an independent, accredited childminder with a level 5 in childcare. In 2006, 2011 and 2014 she received outstanding. Only 9% childminders achieve outstanding.

 

In September 2018, the setting expanded with the main principle being outside exploring. Tracy attended a Forest School Training Course which inspired us to include this in our practice.

 

The setting is fully equipped with a selection of quality learning toys. The environment is safe and has plenty of opportunities for play which includes an open garden.

 

Parents can be always assured that their child is well cared for, as we work closely with families to support their child’s individual needs. Children are given healthy snacks and a home cooked meal, with an option to bring in a packed lunch if they wish. We also cater for any dietary needs. 

 

We work with other specialists to meet the needs of children with Special Education Needs and will work with parents to ensure that they have equal opportunities to access all activities at the setting.
