The Early years Environment
Our purpose built, early years facility has been designed using a "Communication Friendly Environment" approach to support speaking and listening skills. This layout helps children to feel secure, as there are cosy areas for thinking time, while also providing plenty of space for playing in a group or individually.
The facility is well lit with natural light and is decorated in neutral colours to provide a calm atmosphere. A homely, inviting environment can really nurture a positive learning experience.
We provide our children with a variety of stimulating activities so they can learn while having fun. Toys and activities are readily accessible to all, so the children can make their own choices.
Why chose our Childcare service?
We offer a holistic approach to nurture and encourage children in a caring way. We take pride in the relationships we build with the children, their parents and the Hide and Seek team. Our team are well supported with a staff member at level 5 in early years.
We offer flexible childcare within term-time depending on your family needs. We accept government funding for 2 year olds and 3-5 year olds. We are located near Hamford Primary Academy School which is in the Frinton and Walton catchment area. Access is from Elm Tree Avenue with secure and welcoming surroundings.
About us
Hide & Seek was set up in 2013 by Tracy Hide as a childminder and has quickly expanded into our lovely purpose built pre-school. Our playroom is fully equipped and we have a garden that children can free flow between indoors and out. There are trees to climb and a mud kitchen to cook up a lovely mud pie.
